Targeting is key to marketing. This article goes over some very detailed audiences that I’ve crafted for Chiropractors, Dentists, & Vets. If you’re targeting these types of audiences then feel free to copy and paste these straight into your campaigns.

In general you’ll see for professional audiences that your target audience will have their job title, their education or industry specific magazines that will help you to identify your audience.

Chiropractors

Additional Interests (just copy and paste):

Cleveland Chiropractic College, International Federation of Sports Chiropractic, National Association for Chiropractic Medicine, Council on Chiropractic Education – USA, Sherman College of Chiropractic, McTimoney College of Chiropractic, Dynamic Chiropractic, British Chiropractic Association, World Federation of Chiropractic, Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, International Chiropractors Association, Northwestern Health Sciences University, Texas Chiropractic College, Logan College of Chiropractic, Chiropractic Economics, Parker University, New York Chiropractic College, American Chiropractic Association, Palmer College of Chiropractic, Chiropractor

Then under suggestions, the following should show up under “Job Titles”. Add these.

Chiropractor/Owner, Doctor of Chiropractic, Chiropractic Doctor (DC), Chiropractic Physician, Chiropractor

And under suggestions again should be “Chiropractic” under “Field of Study”

Then Schools should start showing up like: 

Palmer College of Chiropractic, Sherman College of Chiropractic, New York Chiropractic College, Palmer College of Chiropractic – Florida Campus, Life Chiropractic College West, etc (take on all of the schools that have Chiropractic as part of them). Also get Life University, Parker University (these are purely Chiropractic universities).

This should give you an audience of about 660k. I’d then hit “Narrow Audience and take only the job titles, the field of study, and the schools. This should give you an audience of about 59,000.

This should be a good audience to target.

Dentists:

Family Dentist, The Leading Dentist, American Student Dental Association, California Dental Association

Then under Job Titles:

Cosmetic Dentist, Dentist/Orthodontist, dentist, General Dentist, Dentist, Dentistry, Orthodontics, Pediatric Dentist, Endodontist, Periodontist, Dental Surgery Doctor (DDS)

Field of Study:

Dentistry, Dentist, Orthodontics, Cosmetic dentistry

Under School:

Dentistry

This should give you a viable audience of 110000 people. You can narrow this as needed.

Veterinarians:

Additional interests:

American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA)

American Veterinary Medical Association

Field of Study

DVM (Doctor of Veterinary medicine)

Vet medicine

Veterinary Science Technology

Schools:
Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine

MSU College of Veterinary medicine and Veterinary Medical Center

Ross University School of Veterinary medicine

The Royal Veterinary College (RVC)

UC Davis School of Veterinary medicine

Job Titles:

Veterinarian (VET)

Veterinary Surgeon

Then I’d narrow the audience by targeting the Education level of:

Doctorate Degree, Master’s Degree, Professional Degree

This should give you a targeted audience of 28,000
